Pasco, Poppy, Palm Beach and Main Streets Utility Improvement Project
As part of the City of Tallahassee’s commitment to providing reliable utility services, plans have been developed for a water and sanitary sewer improvement project along Pasco, Poppy, Palm Beach and Main streets.
Improvements will include replacement of water and sanitary sewer mains, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer manholes, and water and sewer service laterals to the right-of-way. Following completion of utility improvements, the roadways will be resurfaced.
The project will be released for bid on July 28, 2024. Pending an awarded contract, construction is expected to begin in December 2024 and will take approximately nine months to complete. For project solicitation information, visit Talgov.com/doingbusiness/b2g.
These utility improvements are part of the City’s proactive program to replace aging utility infrastructure and provide safe, reliable utility service to customers.
