Hi, I’m Bernie! I’m a 44lb mixed breed with a seemingly laid-back vibe and a happy spirit. I was found wandering around, and despite trying to find my family, no one came forward. But hey, I’m ready to find a new place to call home! I’m the kind of dog who loves hanging out with my people and any respectful dog friends. I have an average energy level, so I’m always up for a good walk or some quality time together. Mostly, I like using my brain—give me a treat, and I’m ready to learn! I’m pretty food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. I can be a bit aloof now and then, but I really value my time with the volunteers here.
